El AS-009 es un sistema de asientos modulares fabricados en concreto polimérico que fomenta la interacción con el espacio público a través de su configuración utilitaria, dotando a cualquier lugar donde se ubique de gran versatilidad y atractivo visual. El sistema consta de 2 medidas diferentes (40 y 120 cm) y 2 formas diferentes, una de ellas recta y otra curva, ambas con un mismo lenguaje formal anguloso que permite generar múltiples configuraciones de manera icónica y unificada a partir de la repetición de las mismas; desde segmentos completamente rectos hasta geometrías circulares o serpentinas que juegan con cualquier espacio, incluyendo disposiciones individuales aleatorias. En el centro de cada módulo existe un vacío que aporta una ligereza visual que contrasta con el volumen de hormigón polímero de la pieza. El diseño y versatilidad de este asiento le permite integrarse prácticamente en cualquier entorno, haciendo más interesante la experiencia de interacción social en los espacios públicos.

Polymer concrete

Polymer concrete is a material made of different mineral aggregates (sand, gravel, gravel, quartz, marble) bound by a synthetic resin and reinforced with fiberglass, which makes it an extremely resistant and lightweight material compared to conventional concrete.

Excellent resistance to chemical corrosion due to contact with solvents, fuels and oils, etc.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Water with some diluted detergent or degreaser, which does not contain abrasive materials, can be helped by using plastic brushes of medium hardness (avoid metallic brushes, sandpaper or abrasive discs). The use of solvents is also possible.

Coatings: Application of paste and/or paint to rehabilitate the benches due to deterioration derived from the conditions of exposure to the environment and service to which they are subjected (Contact our sales team).

Polishing: To revive the color and leave the surface smooth.

Materials

Cast Aluminum

The aluminum structures are made from AlMg3 material, suitable for outdoor use. An stainless steel granule is applied onto the surface of the cast aluminum through blowing, limiting the occurrence of corrosion.

If the customer wants to prevent oxidation, it is advisable to apply a powder coating layer to the surface.

Stainless Steel

By contrast, this material withstands extreme conditions such as high humidity or salinity levels in the atmosphere. Its natural appearance also gives it its own aesthetic virtue.

Carbon Steel

The primary material used for manufacturing most product components is Class 11373 steel (S235JR) or higher quality. Tolerances adhere to ISO 2768-1 standard 'm', and imperfection quality complies with EN 25817 standard 'C'.

All our products undergo a series of processes tailored to the material and usage type, aiming to provide the highest quality and durability possible. The combination of these processes represents a unique art perfected over years of experience, made possible only through the right technology and raw materials.

Wood

Plywood

We use treated plywood to protect wood sheets from their natural decomposition, insects, humidity, heat, and other elements. This allows us to guarantee the material for 4 years with minimal maintenance.

Tropical Wood

This type of timber is, by nature, more weather resistant. We mainly use Tropical Wood due to its high resistance to fungi, mold, humidity and also due to its color range.

Glass

Laminated, Tempered, Confortek

For overhead use, 9mm glass with 4mm safety solar film model N1040 SR PS4, medium smoke color, blocks 99% of UV rays, total sunlight reflected 16%, solar rays absorbed 48%, solar energy reflected 49%, visible light transmitted 40%, heat reduction 48%, glare and sunlight reduction 56%, tensile strength 32,000, elongation at break 100%, break strength 2720.
